Joi Alexander
Joi is a seasoned on-premise and off-premise catering sales professional with over 20 years of experience in account management, business consulting, client relations, business development, strategic planning and CPG management. In 2017, Alexander was named Director of Catering Sales at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Home of the Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United. Alexander received the Top Sales Performer Award for 2019 exceeding group sales revenue by $7M. During her time at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Joi played a major role in spearheading the catering and private event business which generated over $5M in revenue year over year.
Her strategic partnership with AMBSE and Levy Restaurants generated additional topline revenue for the catering and food and beverage department.
She has worked with corporate clients such as Coca-Cola, Redfin, Ernst Young, SunTrust Bank and Delta Airlines just to name a few in planning and executing their large events at MBS. Alexander served as the Head of Regional Off-Premise Sales for CAVA & Zoes Kitchen. In this role, she was responsible for all off-premise catering sales for 150+ Zoës Kitchens and CAVA’s across the United States. She also sits on the CAVA Catering steering committee. In her current role, Joi serves as the Vice President of Sales and Catering for Slutty Vegan ATL.
About The Course
Event Management & Planning is an intensive course where you’ll learn how to set up your event, what differentiates a good event from a great one, understand the difference between certain types of events, practice the ideal steps when planning events, and how to attract sponsors and make your event profitable.
